What PS3 games need to be looked at?

Some of those titles intrigue me, Pulsar. Did all of those get domestic releases, and are they hard copies or PSN?

I found out about this only recently. Looks a lot like Virtual-On and was reviewed positively. Perhaps someone could recommend some JPN-only titles that aren't heavily-reliant on the language?

There are more fighting game elements in the Extreme VS series though.. Still a great game..

Silent Hill HD

No. This game is universally known for how horrible it is, the original creators of Silent Hill couldn't believe how horrible job they did with the HD collection. It's full of visual and audio bugs that ruin the gameplay experience and it has new voice actors that also ruin the experience. Seriously, some important scenes in the game lost their meaning because the new voice actors didn't understand the scenes they were voice acting.

This collection is so bad that Twin Perfect made a video explaining all the things they did wrong and it's over 2 hours long.

Konami's own screwups are more to blame for that than the guys who did the port. They were given an outdated, buggy source build that needed tons of bug fixing before it was even playable.

Konami sees Silent Hill as a b-list franchise and I think it really shows with the HD collection. Just compare it to how polished the MGS HD collection is.

Yeah, all the other HD collections are great afaik. But even if there weren't any bugs in the Silent Hill HD collection at all, they've still replaced the voice actors and thus ruined the games. You can play the games in HD resolution if you get the PC versions of Silent Hill 2&3 (and play them with a PS3 controller if you've got the USB cable), so there's no reason for that collection to exist.

I've gave SH 2&3 HD a second chance, this time on the PS3 not 360. I dont know what happened but I'm starting to enjoy the game and havent encountered any bugs (that were horrible) thus far. There is an option for the original voices in part 2, I havent played 3 yet. I'm Hoping part 4/The Room gets an update, I wanna line those babies up on my shelf.

Good point, it was very dissappointing to not have that on the collection despite any conflicts in stories. It would take some work to do an update, but heck with a full fledge staff with experience and the equipment to boot theres no excuse to not throw a bone to the fans.

I could see coming up with a whole new SH game taking awhile, but to update an old one shouldnt take too much time it's basically all laid out. The problem maybe stem down to risk and profit, of course.
