Sorry to bring this up again, but referring to my post from the other day:

Does anyone have an idea here? Would getting a new hard drive would help resolve this problem in the future?

If the hard drive is failing, yes.CFFJR wrote:Sorry to bring this up again, but referring to my post from the other day:

If the PS3 is failing, no.
Try a hard drive first. They're very cheap and worst case scenario you can use it for some other application (external WiiU drive, PC backup drive, etc.).

Frown: had to replace the windshield in my truck today. Damn things are expensive.
Smile: Knights of Pen and Paper. Best RPG I've played since Half Minute Hero.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Insurance didn't cover the windshield? I have liability only, and have had liability coverage only in both WI and MN, and all (3) times we've had to replace the windshield it was fully covered, no deductible. I've actually never heard of a policy that won't cover it 100% as it is better for them to have drivers they're insuring replace scratched and cracked windshields.Flake wrote:Frown: had to replace the windshield in my truck today. Ticked: Have to pick a friend up from a concert at 1am. "Around 11" my ass. A promise is a promise though, and I'm not going to leave him to walk 8 miles that time of night around that part of town.

They paid for the repair a few months ago but it didn't hold. My deductible is too high to cover replacement.mjmjr25 wrote:Insurance didn't cover the windshield? Was it an 'approved shop' that the insurance company recommended? If so, they should stand behind the fix.Flake wrote:They paid for the repair a few months ago but it didn't hold. My deductible is too high to cover replacement.
