Gradius V is awesome. It was the first shmup I bought after realizing I love shmups (Thanks to Shiki II), and I ecstatic to finally clear the game... with 12 credits.

You and noise both love that game. I still can't figure out what it is about it that is so enticing, especially with the main character.

Gradius V on the other hand...Too bad we can't do credits on the PS2 version. I'm stuck gaming over and starting over, but it's worth it. Such an awesome game.

If i remember right, it keeps giving you more "credits" the more time you log on the game. I vaugely recall mine finally going to free play.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

I got Chaos Field the other day. I've never played anything from Milestone (who I understand just went under not too long ago), and I've heard stuff like "it's all boss rush" and there is an Ikaruga-style polarity mechanic. I'm a bit scared that I'm gonna do pretty bad at it

Sagaia - Sega Master System. I love the robot fish beast boss design, bosses seem a bit too easy fir the first few levels though.
