So hey, remember a while back when my PS3 crapped out, corrupted my hard drive, and I had to restore it and lost everything? 'Member? You 'member.

Yeah, it just happened again. Coincidentally, I was playing Mortal Kombat 9 both times.

Thankfully I didn't lose as much this time, but seriously, this is fucked. Its also incredibly annoying. I particularly hate having to download (and install) things again on the slow as molasses ps3.

I don't know if this is a system issue, a hard drive issue, or possibly an issue with Mortal Kombat, but I do know that its big time bullshit.

Any suggestions? Should I replace the hard drive? Stop playing Mortal Kombat? Burn my PS3 and dance around it while chanting and laughing maniacally?

Opiate overdose, so stupid if that's what it is. That sucks for his friends and family. I've lost quite a few friends to opiates and it's always just completely unexpected.

Yeah, there have been a handful of deaths where I live from opiate overdose. Although the people who died weren't on it because they needed to be. They had a bad pill-popping habit that ended up costing them their lives.

If I had a dollar for each time a close friend died from an overdose...Well, I'd only have three more dollars but it sucks balls anytime a kid dies. Obviously he had enough potential to carry a disastrous "reality" show.

Yea I don't think anyone that dies from opiates ever actually needs them.*

After the rapper eyedea died who I was friends with I get really pissed of when someone asks me if I'm able to get any painkillers. My response is usually something along the lines of heroin is cheaper and kills you faster.

Also I'm really sick of hearing about pot being a date rape drug. Painkillers are for sure gateway drugs, they actually have harder versions that people end up moving to due to tolerance, price and availability.

*yes I know people that people that actually need them sometimes do die due to complications or bad reactions. I'm just generalizing.

I find this interesting. Do you think if he hadn't been on drugs that his life would still have interesting and worthy to be on TV Luke? Also would anyone have watched Jersey Shore if had been a bunch people that didn't drink?

I didn't know he was a user. People who worked with him said he had an incredible charisma and was extremely likable. His antics were the highlight of the show.
