Ni No Kuni's got itself entrenched firmly on the top of the to-buy list. Double Fine's The Cave will serve as the go-to multiplayer distraction for Spring. Pokemon X/Y, as the franchise always does, has piqued my attentions, but as with Black/White, the excitement is still slow on the trigger, though it's understandable, given the infancy of the hype.
I'm hoping The Last Guardian pops it head above the surface at some stage, though I'll remain unoptimistic.

Re: Most anticipated games of 2013
I'm guessing that it's an old list, at least I'm hoping it was. Gta 5 was slated for release in the spring and from the sounds of the it is actually really close to completion. That doesn't mean it can't be pushed back of course though. If I had to guess, without any delay, the game will probably be released in April or May. All the googling I've done came up with nothing about a delay.TEKTORO wrote:I seen it on the reserve list @ gamestop, guessing it was current?flex wood wrote:Wait what? Also GS is weird about games that don't have an official release date and like to make up their own crap and what not just to get people to put money down.
Re: Most anticipated games of 2013
Yea that could be the case, just through me off cause the other games seemed to be updated and correct. They even had some "hotter" titles highlighted. When I glanced the date, I just figured with all the events as of late maybe a reason for the push?
O yea I also caught wind of a Deadly Premonition: Directors Cut coming to PS3!!
YES!
Gonna have an improved combat system, driving mechanics and additional content... Muthatruckin sweeet.
I'm skeptical of South Parks RPG, but honestly if the deveoplers played some Lunar (as far as influence) and infused it the this game I could see that turning out well. May sound weird, but just some inspirational elements..

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Re: Most anticipated games of 2013
I read that a Deadly Premonition remake was in the works for the PS3, with new controls, more story, and nicer graphics. I loved the first, so I am pretty excited.

I hope they fix the framerate issues in the latest release of Deadly Premonition.
Red Seeds Profile (PS3) definitely doesn't run as well as the original 360 release.

Bioshock Infinite (not holding my breath since it was delayed so many times)
Luigi's Mansion 2
Pokemon X/Y
Tomb Raider
Ni No Kuni
A few others ones I am looking forward to coming out, but I'll be playing these ones for sure.

Re: Most anticipated games of 2013
As of right now, I actually am excited for a few titles and somewhat interested in a few that have recently released
-Ducktales remake by Wayforward
-FFX and FFX-2 HD International versions getting released here in the states
-To the Moon 2
-Dungeons and Dragons Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara on PSN/XBLA - Not so much for the games themselves, even though they are great, but for what it could mean for other arcade classics getting released if Capcom can obtain the rights.
-Killer is Dead - Suda won me over with Lollipop Chainsaw
-Fables: The Wolf Among Us - I'm a fan of the comic, and curious to see what Telltale does with it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fables_(video_game)
-Batman: Arkham Origins - http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/vi ... -This-Year
-Charlie Murder - I'm a huge fan of the Dishwasher Samurai games, and after playing I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES 1N IT!!!1, I find myself just liking James Silva's style in general. Plus, that trailer music is so badass:
Whatever interesting stuff comes out for the Vita after I buy it within the next month or so
Cautiously optimistic:
The recently released Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Bioshock: Infinite (I found the original Bioshock good, but highly overrated)
Dragon's Crown - I hope it's better than Code of Princess
The Cave - I want to try it despite mixed reviews
