I can't make any headway with Dodonpachi Resurrection. Looks gorgeous, sounds great, kills me dead.

Been playing Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 all weekend, looking to beat my 1cc high scores on Novice mode. I think I can reach 375 mil.... if I can just... one more go.... LOL

I've been playing DDP DFK on novice,made to 2-5 boss with something like a 17+billion score,some how I doubt novice is getting me ready for the real deal tho.....

Just got a major haul of new shmups: Raiden III, R-Type Delta, Darius II and Gynoug.

Love them all, especially Raiden III and Darius II so far. Took me a while to "click" with Darius but now I've got the timing right I'm really enjoying it.

Raiden III I've always lusted after and was one of the major incentives for me to buy a Jp PS2. Still wish it had the Raiden DX music though!

You did know that there is a US PS2 version of Raiden III, right?

Yep, but buying a US console is even harder than buying a Jp one over here! And there was a PAL release, but the price got very high for it.

I forgot to include Thunderforce VI too - another very nice new game for me.
