Did the people who produce nintendo power not make as much copies of the last issue? I haven't seen a copy at stores and on amazon/ebay it is like 30 bucks.

I imagine it had the same print run as any other issue, it's just that people snatched it up really quick. Tons of people bought up as many copies as they could get their hands on.

I had a hard time finding it the first week it came out. It wasn't at the normal places I go, so yeah, it sold real fast. I was lucky and found a copy in the magazine racks of Barnes & Noble, but nowhere near the video game magazine section. Someone probably picked up, checked it out as they walked down the magazine racks, then just stuck it up there. The rest of the copies were sold out, so I completely lucked out.

I saw a whole bunch of copies at walmart a week or so after it was out, but I only bought one because I don't care about making money as much as some people. I just wanted to have this little piece of gaming history. Did anyone else get a bit misty eyed when they read that Nester comic, or was it just me?

I had planned to pick up two or three copies of it because I had a few friends who I knew wanted one and just couldn't find it. I've also seen a few people online nab a bunch to sell back to people who couldn't find it at cost (so they weren't profiting in any way).

...'course most people I imagine just snatched up a bunch because they knew it'd be in demand and wanted to turn a bit of a profit later.

It was a love-letter to the magazine and Nintendo in general. It was one of the better issues, unless you're just not a Nintendo fan (which would then beg the question why even buy it at all?).
