Black Label vs. Player's Choice Gamecube games?

I prefer black label, but I'm content with my Player's Choice versions of Viewtiful Joe, and Kirby's Air Ride. It's a nice reminder that those variants existed. The Best Seller ribbon doesn't bother me whatsoever. Reminds me of the SNES days.

My original version of Windwaker was black label, but I eventually sold it like a dumbass, and later re-bought a K-Mart Exclusive variant. I know Metroid Prime has one of these too. Not sure what else.

If it's a game I need at the right price, I'll pick up a Player's Choice/Greatest Hits/Sega All Stars games, but I have to admit the different colors bother me a bit. Not sure why, I just have always hated the cases for these games.

Yellow label games are the same as black label games, and it isn't worth thinking about the difference in packaging. I know the labels look different, but what's the big deal?

If you can't enjoy a game due to an ugly green strip on the case - a case you're not looking at while playing - that's not good. And I have to say, the color they use on PS2 Greatest Hits is pretty sharp.

It's not that I can't enjoy the game - if all I wanted to do was enjoy it, I'd just seek out disk only. But the greatest hits logos all look fugly as hell, so I don't want them on my shelves.

Fair. I do have a couple. My copy of Fable is the Lost Chapters, my Twisted Metal Black is the online capable red label. The games that are worth getting their GH version of though are few and far in between.

The yellow labels actively bother me. I can't stand it at all. Same for the red label PS2/3 games, green label PS1 games, platinum Xbox games, and orange label Dreamcast games. It's so disgusting.

I end up buying games way after their initial release so I have lots of this Greatest Hits stuff. Doesn't bother me. The colors are different? I'm colorblind.

I won't touch a Player's Choice GameCube game, that fugly yellow is hideous. At least Nintendo didn't repeat their mistake with the Wii.

The PAL games aren't any better. They use silver boxes with a yellow logo on them.

I can't stand Greatest hits releases simply because they don't conform to the color scheme of the majority of the releases and they stand out like a sore thumb as a result. I'm a bit OCD like that. I want everything to look neat.
