I wonder if anyone knows why or has had this happen. I have a GB cart from Brazil that I picked up a while back. It has some awesome games on it like Ninja Gaiden, Bat Man, Contra, ect. I put it in my Gameboy console but I can only hear the noise, can't see the screen really. But when I put the same game on my Super Game boy to be played on the SNES, it works perfectly. Anyone know what this could be or anyone have had this same problem before? I'm very curious.
I am stumped. At first I thought that the game was specifically designed for the Gameboy Color but then I realized that if that were the case then it wouldnt work in the Super Gameboy. It also has that little indent for the Original Gameboy DMG-01, can I ask what version of Gameboy you tried it in?
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

That is true, but I am curious as to see if it will work if he puts it in Original Gameboy.

It's hard to say - I have regular carts that are finicky like this. My GBA Zelda II boots perfectly in my DS every time, but is 50/50 whenever I put it in my SP.
Is the contrast on the gameboy low? I remember watching this old Nintendo training video and some customer came up with his old game boy and he heard the sound of the game but there was no picture and it was just that the contrast was turned down. Do other games work fine on the GameBoy?
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL
I tried it on both GBC and GBA. I don't have an old school GB to try it on. I have a lot of pirated games and this is the only one that does it. I cleaned it real good with alcohol already and still it works great in the Super Game Boy player, but when in my GBC or GBA I can only hear the sound. It looks like it wants to show up and is very very barely on there, super dim. But since there is no contrast option on my GBC I can't do that.
