In any case the point is that if it is on GoG, rights holders are doing something with it, so it is no longer "abandoned" and not abandonware any more. Not going more into the ethical issue of abandonware itself, it is clear that if the game is on GoG and you download it without paying from somewhere else, it is a different ethical issue.
