I've played almost every version of Lunar -- and they're all great. Get it on anything. SCD, PS1, GBA, PSP. Whatever. It's an amazing game.

There were Lunar 3 rumors years back and it was going to be on all things the XBOX.
Never Panned out.

I'll probably get it on PS1 since it's the most available. AFTER I beat Xenogears and Chrono Trigger...

so In 13 years I guess?

I think the Sega CD Lunars are cheaper. I kinda want to pick up those versions so I have an excuse to own more Sega CD games.

Also, Popful Mail rules and more of you should play it.

That game has some hilarious dialogue...

Like the part with that wannabe Arnold Schwarzenegger. Too funny... :D

Yeah, WD's sense of humor really meshes perfectly with that game.

Well in that case, looks like 1 is cheaper on the Sega CD, while 2 is cheaper on Playstation.

I think most people consider the PSX versions to be superior, but I'm not sure.

I've got a pretty decent WD collection:
Albert Odyssey (Saturn)
Arc the Lad Collection (PS1)
Growlanser Generations (PS2)
Lunar: The Silver Star (Sega CD)
Lunar II: Eternal Blue (Sega CD)
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (PS1)
Magic Knight Rayearth (Saturn)
Popful Mail (Sega CD)
Shining Wisdom (Saturn)
Silhouette Mirage (PS1)
Silpheed: The Lost Planet (PS2)
Vay (Sega CD)

I love their work. Even with games which would be entirely bland (Albert Odyssey and Vay), the Working Designs touch adds enough fun to make them worth playing.
I'm also proud that I bought Magic Knight Rayearth directly from them shortly before they went out of business. So I was able to have some direct-WD contact. It's kind of weird to miss a company, but I miss them. I hope Gaijinworks can build up steam and start releasing all kinds of awesome things in the future!

At some point, I'd like to collect all of their Saturn releases, so I'll have everything for a Sega System... but Dragon Force is really expensive, Sega Ages seems overpriced compared to other ways to get the games in the collection, and Iron Storm just doesn't seem like a game I would get into. WELL, MAYBE SOMEDAY.

Does Iron Storm have anything to do with Metal Storm?
