I hate parfaits. Also, Genesis platformers were drastically inferior to SNES platformers, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a blabbering idiot. Discuss in this thread along with the topics of gay marriage, gun rights, religion, U.S. foreign policy, and the fact that Tim Burton's Batman is superior to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

Ah, but Joel Schumacher's Batman was superior to all.prfsnl_gmr wrote:I hate parfaits. I'm buying all my guests parfaits during half time of the NC State game.
Oh, and no one died during the filming of Burton's Batman, plus it has Kim and Keaton, so advantage 1989.
Singing off for now. I kinda expect lots of new posts when I log back in.
Cheers k'boy!

You've figured me out. My whole purpose here was the derail this thread and it has worked perfectly according to plan!Ack wrote:Oh, of course. I know I do. But he was responding to the movie quote folks. You, however, went down a different line in response to him. So he has derailed the thread to discuss how much people actually like parfaits, and you and I are discussing it. I wonder if it is a common trait amongst thread derailers not to like parfaits?Luke wrote:Not at all with my post. People like parfaits.Ack wrote:

I want a parfait. Luke, how about you?

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
To get back on track... who got a movie planned for this weekend? Sadly Hobbit drops on next Tuesday, so I am thinking about the Hifi Hobbit this weekend. It is the video from the Rankin Bass DVD, with audio from the Laserdisc and tape - the DVD had alot of soundeffects removed.

If you're a fan of the 60's Batman show, yes (I always thought Batman And Robin was similar). For everyone else, maybe not so much.Ack wrote: Ah, but Joel Schumacher's Batman was superior to all.

Trial of the Road
A unique anti-war film that was banned in the Soviet Union for over a decade. Dabbles in absurdism and frequently offends then-Russian sensibilities of glorified soldier imagery. Ought to be up there among the ranks of Eastern Front classics such asStalingrad and Come and See.
