Interesting. Square didn't do too bad with their FPS/RPG hybrid Dues Ex: Human Revolution, but to bring back Thief? I'm not sure how I feel. How about those amongst us who have sunk quite a bit of time into the series?
So Thief 4 anybody?

I'm really stoked about this game. I've played and beaten all the originals and I always loved doing the "no one knows you were even here or that anything even happened" approach. I've gotten Dishonored, but haven't taken the time with it yet, so I can't say what would appeal to me more about this than that, other than "the approach", it does seem that in Dishonored there are certain areas where you just can't avoid at least having to knock someone out.

I just really hate that kind of naming scheme. It's a peeve of mine I guess. Driv3r and Wip3out drive me nuts too.
Re: So Thief 4 anybody?
According to Gamefaqs, Eidos is developing and publishing Thief 4, not sure how or why SE has their finger in this, they need to stop putting their name on everything.

Could it be, because Eidos is a subsidiary of SquareEnix?Hazerd wrote:According to Gamefaqs, Eidos is developing and publishing Thief 4, not sure how or why SE has their finger in this, they need to stop putting their name on everything.

Why? If it means I get more games in the Tomb Raider, Hitman, and Thief series, why would you care?Hazerd wrote:Man i hate SE now, right up their with EA.
