Hey Luke, how would you rank these?
Green Lantern, Spider-Man 3, Batman & Robin, Catwoman
What was the last movie you've seen?

Man, that's difficult as some cheese ripens with time. But for funsies I'd say:
Emo-Man 3: Super Cocky Dancing Tobey had to have made you either hate the movie or burst out loud with wtf laughter. Also it brought attention to the fact that "That 70's Show" cast would have made for a way better Spider-Man movie.
Batman and Ninja Dry Cleaner: Batman blacklight hockey? Sure, why not? Who doesn't love a gang of derelicts who paints their faces with highlighters, because, ya never know when that might come in handy.
Tits in Leather: You got what you paid for; tits in leather.
Green Lantern: We've gone over this enough.

The only part of Catwoman I've seen is when Halle Berry's on the phone and she hops on to her couch 'like a cat'.
It was a funny scene.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

I was going to put this in the TV thread, but this whole series was aired as a movie on Syfy and really works better when seen in its entirety in one sitting
This was really good. It had the same feel as the TV series with the directing and cinematography, and the music was very similar as well. The movie fits quite neatly into the show's mythology as a prequel. I haven't seen Caprica yet so I don't know if they are any references to it in the movie, but it's easy to follow for fans of the BSG show. The performances were all pretty good and I liked the story and the dialog too. The best part of this movie though
THE FRAKKING SPACE BATTLES!
The BSG tv series never focused heavily on action, but when it did it was quite an event, and the battles in this movie are every bit as impressive. Adama was quite the badass pilot I have to say. He was Starbuck before there was a Starbuck

Just finished Cabin in the Woods
FUCKING AWESOME!!!!
If you're a horror fan, or a Buffy/Angel fan, it's a must see. I can't say anything else without spoiling the movie
For those of you who have seen it

Finally saw Amazing Spider Man last night. So it's better than 1 and 3 but not as good as 2. I thought the recovering of the origin story at least did enough new stuff to make it interesting.
Like has been said, he wasn't much of a peter parker. He came off as a guy who could have gotten the girl but pretended to be a guy who couldn't get the girl because it's cool to not be popular.
Connors was underdeveloped. His plan joined a long line of comic book movie villain plots that make no sense (batman, batman returns, spiderman 1). They did a much better job of establishing the green goblin turning evil and I think they tried too hard to be different when they needed to worry about making a good movie.
The editing was all over the place.
I still enjoyed the overall atmosphere and action. If marvel had rights to this property we know exactly what we would have gotten since all their films have the exact same tone. It was nice to get something slightly more serious without being as bleak as Nolan's batman.

Agree on both. The Death Race remake thingy with Statham was good, although in no way related to the original besides the Frankenstein character... ah, great stuff.fastbilly1 wrote:Death Race 3: Inferno - It is a sequel to the prequel of Death Race - which is a "quasi sequel/remake" of Death Race 2000. As you can imagine, it was crap. Unlike Death Race 2 where the fight scenes and the races made up for the crappy acting, Death Race 3 had nothing going for it at all. Bad showing by Danny Trejo and Ving Rhames. The only redeeming fact of the movie was that it had the same actors as Death Race 2, but thats only goes so far.
Death Race 2000 - My wife had never seen it, and it had been since the early 90s since I watched it, so we enjoyed it Saturday night. It is a great way to end the week, with plenty of vehicular manslaughter and pissed off Slyvestor Stallone. Its hooky, its silly, its over the top, it has more nudity than I remember, but it is still a fun "turn off your brain and enjoy."
