@Erik
Have you tried using your arcade stick with the WiiU? If it's USB it might work. Don't hold me to that though.

Yea I meant main Mario games on home consoles not games with Mario on it just so they can sell more like Mario Kart , Mario Tennis, Super Brawl... none of those are platformers.
I did forget about Mario Bros 3 for NES and as far as I heard Bros.2 was supposed to be a chinese only edition or something like that. But since SNES we havent seen 2 Mario platformers . Yoshi Island is more about Yoshi than Mario I guess , but even then it was a different game. With Mario Galaxy , its Mario Galaxy same game just updated and enhanced. They Could have at least made Mario Galaxy Yoshi's Universe so it would be something different not an extension

The Mario 2 in the US was a sprite hack of a different Japanese game. But Japan got its own Mario 2, known better as The Lost Levels from Mario All Stars.kingmohd84 wrote:I did forget about Mario Bros 3 for NES and as far as I heard Bros.2 was supposed to be a chinese only edition or something like that. That, and in a way it was kinda retroactively worked into the main Mario canon. Many elements, enemies, etc from the US version of SMB2 would show up in later games. Shy Guys are a big one.fastbilly1 wrote:Which was also made by Miyamoto.MrPopo wrote:The Mario 2 in the US was a sprite hack of a different Japanese game.

Thinking about pre ordering Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Any idea where to get the best deal for both the 3DS and Wii U versions? Amazon seems to be offering $20 off if you buy both. So $80 total. Anything better around?
