Lesson learned, it's probably better to just type out quote for truth.

I order a first print copy of Batman Inc off of ebay today. I called my local comic shop and he says all copies sold out in one hour on new comic day and he's ordering second prints.

Personally, I think this is kind of crazy. It's one thing to kill Robin, it's another to kill Batman's SON. How the hell do they do another Robin after this? I can't believe that Bruce would take on another ward after this and Jason Todd. If Damien DOES come back, he's gonna be effed up like Jason Todd was, probably more so. We've already been down that road and I don't want them to recycle that with Damien. It takes away the very thing that makes Jason Todd stand out. Speaking of him, it's going to be very, very interesting seeing his reaction to Damien's death and Batman failure, yet again, to keep the Boy Wonder alive.

There is a certain irony to Damien dying while working with Bruce. We all know he was Robin while Dick Grayson was Batman, and he survived that stint just fine. You could make an argument for who is the better Batman. I wonder if Bruce beats himself up even more over the fact that he couldn't keep Damien alive while Dick did. Speaking of which, boy, Dick Grayson and Tim Drake sure are proving themselves to be the best Robins, especially Dick. You got it right the first time Bruce, probably should have stopped there.

The timing of this story is interesting, coming off of the Death of the Family arc. They must have had this planned long before they announced it

^ You seem to be worrying about things that won't be an issue, IMO. I'm nearly positive he won't stay dead, being that he's Ra's Al Ghul's grandson.

I'm not worried, but I guess I came off that way. I'm just surprised by the choice, but kind of intrigued at the same time. I don't know that it's a good idea, but I'll be interested in seeing where they go with this.

I think Lazarus Pitting him would be kind of lame. They did that with Jason Todd already. That's my only concern. If they do bring him back, what can they do with that story that they haven't already done with Jason Todd? I thought Under the Red Hood was a brilliant comic story arc and animated movie. How do you top that?

Gail Simone will be taking over Red Sonja.

I have every issue that Dynamite has put out (including one shots and minis) and this is fantastic news.

This book has had strong writers on it for the most part, but I'm very interested to see Simone write her.

I've been reading Superior Spider-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Universe, and Mega Man.

I really find Superior SM interesting and waiting for "Worlds Collide" the Sonic Mega Man cross over.

Who else has actually been reading Earth 2?

I have to say. After all the controversy surrounding turning Earth 2's Green Lantern gay, now it just seems silly.

I know many people were probably scared that they'd write Alan Scott as the stereotypical flamboyant gay character that you see in a lot of media. But it's come off as quite the opposite. It's been done very tasteful where Alan Scott comes off as genuine, deep character who also is gay. Kudos to James Robinson.

There's still the issue of Jade and Obsidian being unlikely to ever happen, though, lol. Then again, there's no reason that they HAVE to be Alan Scott's kids if they do decide to bring them into the New 52 down the road (or that they even have to be on Earth 2).

What is everyone else's thoughts on this, now that the controversy has died down?
