Just finished watching this last night. Pretty dang good. Much better than the first part, which I felt was far too drawn out and got boring. This one was action packed. And it had not 1, but 2 amazing gritty fights between an old-man Batman and The Joker, and Batman and Superman.

And for those, like me, that didn't appreciate Frank Miller's artwork in the original graphic novel, thankfully it has the normal DC Animated movie quality to it.

The Joker's voice seemed off, though. I guess I've just been spoiled for too long by Mark Hammil's portrayal.

It's available on Netflix, that's where I got it. Check it out.

Anyone else watch it? What are your thoughts on it?

Hammil's awesome for sure, but I think John DiMaggio runs a close second. He was Mr. J in Under The Red Hood and I hope they use him again sometime.

What? I'm pretty sure that's a no. It's based on the Frank Miller graphic novel of the same name.

It's not Pixar, it's Disney. I used to tell people "never call a Pixar movie a Disney movie" because I thought it was unfair for Disney to take credit for Pixar's work when their own output was so weak. Now that they actually are doing good work again, I would say that the opposite also applies and it would be unfair for Pixar to take the credit for such an amazing film when their own entry, Brave, was good but far from their best.

I agree he did a good job, but nobody comes close to Hammil. When I was reading the recent Batgirl issue from the Death of the Family arc I was literally hearing Hammil's voice in my head with every line of dialog from the Joker that I read. He quite literally IS the Joker to me

Recently bought this off of Amazon, and while I've never seen the original Kamen Rider (but I recently started reading the manga, thanks to Comixology recently scoring a ton of manga from KR's creator, the late Shotaro Ishinomori), I love it.

For those who don't know, Kamen Rider The First is a reboot of the original KR series, showing how a young man's life is taken from him by the insidious crime syndicate Shocker, who turns him into a cyborg. When he regains his free will, Shocker create a second Kamen Rider.

Can't wait to see the sequel. It wasn't brought over by Media Blasters like the first one, but it was fansubbed by TV-Nihon, who also fansubbed the Heisei-era KR series (starting with Kuuga and the most recent Wizard) and a few of the Showa-era KR films (Kamen Rider ZO, which was adapted into a SegaCD game AND was later used as the source for footage from Saban's Masked Rider, as well as Shin Kamen Rider).

Damn.. stupid of me  But since John Lasseter was responsible for it it did indeed look like a Pixar film.
