Megaman X4 Action Replay codes

Post by treepop »

I know I sound like sissy sauce, but are there any Action replay codes for megaman x4. I can't seem to find any that work. I have googled it and found sega saturn codes for other games, but not x4.

Thanks!

Wow. I must suck at games b/c I can't beat the 1st boss (beast) for money.

I found some Gameshark codes; don't know if they work on AR though:

At work. So can't verify, but I think I have tried those with no luck :(

Am I crazy or are the bosses in this game ridiculous? I died on that beast boss like 20 times and still haven't beat him :(

*EDIT*
I just read that I might be doing this in the wrong order.

I just read that the order should be:
Web Spider, Split Mushroom, Magma Dragoon, Cyper Peacock, Storm Owl, Frost Walrus, Jet Stingray, Slash Beast.

So I have been doing it in reverse order I guess.

you are crazy. X4's bosses are some of the easiest in the series as long as you know which weapon to use on them. If you have the right weapon, most of the enemies pretty much just freeze and their tracks with each hit. Really I found the game pretty simple up until Sigma's 2nd and 3rd forms (and I think I found Double to be kind of tough at first). Although in fairness, I also never really bothered to upgrade my suit either. Anyway, tl;dr: just check a FAQ so you know which order to kill them in and which weapon to use on each and you should find that the bosses are far easier than the levels that preceeded them.

Yeah I think I had them in the wrong order. However, I felt mm2's bosses were much easier. Man that game was great.

I have great love and nostalgia for Mega Man but there are some of the hardest games for me.

I think part of the fun with the Mega Man games is not knowing who is weak to what, and going through all the stages trying to build your own path. Especially in the X series, where even if you fail to finish a stage due to a difficult boss, you still get to keep any upgrades you find.

This game was tuned for the psx controller. By nature it will be harder on saturn, assuming all other things are equal.
Lum fan.

Seriously you are having trouble with X4? You might just want to avoid the X series then because X4 was exceptionally easy from what I remember from my youth.

I am actually going to burn X4 for my Saturn right now...
