What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

From I have read here, watching the movie only one time will pay off my credit card debt and dissolve all of my cysts. I can't wait for it to come out on Netflix streaming!

Moreover - reading this thread - I don't feel like I have missed out on anything (except The Avengers, which will apparently change my life.)
Other than ruining the costume, Amazing Spider-Man was quite good.

Not life changing, but it's a damned good film. It has its share of "what the?" moments, but it will keep a smile on your face the entire movie. It's smart, plays to every audience, and makes you like every-single-charcter. Even the extras don't suck. It's a keeper, and if you don't like it, I'll reimburse you (Netflix charges).

Have you seen the pics of the costume for the sequel?

Best movie spider-man costume yet.

They actually got the eyes right for once! There's no stupid basketball texture!

Ooh, that looks cool!

Now if they just get rid of the stupid booties and put the belt back on him, I'll be as happy as a pig in shit.

At least as far as the costume goes, anyway. We'll see about the movie itself. I did like the first one though.

Yeah, it looks much better. Let's hope we didn't just get a better costume at the sacrifice of a good story, though.

Gwen's gotta go now, doesn't she? If they don't go with the inevitable; wow. That would be something great and something I would LOVE to see. Bad part is I don't see that happening. It will probably be paint by numbers unless Sony wants to lose the franchise, which sounds silly unless you look at the numbers.

Interesting stuff.

How so? I've already explained why it's a horrible movie (and it is extremely horrible), so you tell me why I'm wrong. I challenge you to defend it.
