XBLA indie game where you manage an arcade in the 80's.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

So I've recently moved back into my dads house after a sort of break up with my girlfriend and boy oh boy is it depressing here. I lived at my mom's until I was about 13 then I was bounced back and forth between my mom and dad until I was able to get my own place at 18. It's weird being here now, lots of old memories are coming back of me being awkward as a kid. Thinking about how I wasted all of my teen years getting high is kind of screwing with my head too. It's weird though for every annoying thing I think of I remember something cool like the first time I played an rpg or just remembering the first time I beat LttP and some of the funny things I got in trouble for like playing on the roof. I guess it's not that depressing when I think hard about it because all my screw ups made me a funnier and more cynical person.

Oh and in floor heating is the greatest thing in the world. Seriously my room may look like a mess with clothes laying all over the floor but if you pick up one of those shirts or socks or underwear they are going to feel like they're fresh out the drier.

Smile: went to Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Musuem and to Dave and Busters today. I got to play several time crisis and house of the dead titles, f355 challenge, virtua tennis 3, in the groove 2, and a ton of other games. All in all, a good day.

For the NAOMI nerds, the Dave and Busters in Utica, Michigan has a full working 8 station derby owners club, a working airline pilot cab, and f355 challenge cabinet.

Ticked: Both places are chalk full of arcade machines, but there was not a single fighter or shmup. That was seriously disappointing. I asked the attendant at dave and busters what the deal was, and his response was a nonchalant "we used to have Tekken 4, but we sold it."

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

Smile: Bully is one of my all time favorite games now.

Frown: That damn arcade game you have to beat to unlock the comic book store.

Pretty disgusting.
The honor code allegation is galling. Though, I don't find some of the university questions to be too harsh as it is a part of investigating the incident. Though, It seems many schools don't do enough to investigate these cases, and instead want to sweep them under the rug, and it appears this might be the case here too.

These cases are also very tough to prosecute given it's one's word vs another with the absence of physical evidence or witness testimony.

Ticked - Yesterday my boss announced that over the weekend he put in his two weeks. While it is good for him, better company for about six fold money, it means no more working from home. It also means that today I have a sitdown with our director, his boss, our manager from division, his boss, and possibly the guy in charge of the southeast. And since my boss is not in the state right now, well itll be just me at what is technically his firing meeting under the guise of "what to do now."

Smiled - We are almost done with painting our top floor of our house, down to a bedroom and the kitchen. If everything goes well we will be done with those this week. And since my boss is leaving the temporary apartment he setup here, I should be getting a couch and TV from him. Do I need a forth couch in my house? No, but for free, I will take it and figure something out. And I can always find uses for TVs.
