Mutant League Football (Genesis)
Mutant League Hockey (Genesis)
Brutal Sports Football (Amiga, also available on Atari Jaguar)
Blood Bowl (MS-DOS). It's turn-based strategy rather than a normal action sports game, but it's pretty much the coolest sports game of all time (Based on a fictional and more violent version of American football with different Warhammer armies/races as playable teams :) )
Thanks for the Projectyle suggestion. Didn't know this one, will try to get a look into it - the music is certainly awesome.

I'm surprised that in your list of fictional sports you left out the amazing classic:
Speedball 2

There are some modern remakes that I have not tried, and the original was released for some platforms including Amiga, DOS and Genesis.

I don't often play sports games, but when I do, I play World Class Baseball for the TurboGrafx 16. Stay retro, my friends.
