I JUST got a wii a couple months ago. And I'm surprised in how much I ended up playing, after years of Nintendo Wii hate.

Turns out there's tons of great games if you stay away from the casual bologna.

My first experience was with skyward sword. I remember picking up the cat-thing on the first island, getting the most evil grin, and throwing it off the island. And it let me.

My Wii collection is incredibly rudimentary at the moment, But I've been playing the hell out of Animal Crossing City Folk.

Also, I love Metroid: Other M. Might very well be one of my favorites, second only to Fusion. Haters gon hate.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 &2, Bully: Scholarship Edition, Okami, Kirby's Return to Dreamland and the De Blob games were my favorites. Though, I think Rayman Origins was probably the best Wii game I've played, even if it is multi-platform. It's a prime example of how a true revamp of a series should be done. Not only that, but it's actually challenging. I did not get through the Land of the Livid Dead in one shot, let alone thirty. Plus, the music itself is as witty as the action. I'd gladly buy a CD of it, and to be frank I haven't bought a CD in over 10 years.

Super Smash Bros Brawl - So much content, and a blast to play with friends
Wario Ware Smooth Moves - Probably one of the best party games. Get this if you'd like to see your friends do silly stuff...
Zack And Wiki - VERY underrated point and click by Capcom. For classic adventure fans.
Cave Story (WiiWare) - Sure, it's a remake of a japanese indie game, but it's worth every cent. I actually got the WiiWare version, the DSiWare and the 3DS remake...
La Mulana (WiiWare) - Talking about japanese indie games, this one almost wasn't released on WiiWare in America. It's a metroidvania with a breath of Indiana Jones. Recommended.
Tetris Party (WiiWare) - Sure, we all played a crazy amount of Tetris, on every system possible. But you can't go wrong with online matches...
Dr Mario RX (WiiWare) - Same as above.
