As a fan of cheesy 90s stuff, I would totally love to have a game.com someday.

It has pretty good sound, actually. It's the awful picture quality that kills it.

Game.com activated. So cool :) Btw, does any one of you know what kind of AC adaptor the game.com uses? Is Genesis, SNES or some other console power supply compatible with it?
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Both the gamecom and gamecom pro models work off of 9V DC 300mA.

I'm just waiting for the day I get lucky and stumble upon a game.com at Goodwill. There's always piles of old 90s PDAs and Palm Pilots there.

Nearly every game.com I find on Amazon has dead pixels according to the seller. I assume that's a common problem.

The fact that Duke Nukem 3D and Resident Evil 2 were both released on the game.com blows my mind.

Then again, the Nokia N-Gage got a Xanadu game?!

It's a system to own strictly for collection reasons. I can't believe there are many out there that would purchase one for actual gaming purposes.
To that end, I'm still looking for one of these model variants,

Both are sort of graphically/technically impressive for the time (although very slow and sloppy). Tiger got an amazing amount of popular/AAA games of the time released on Game.com and R-Zone. Game.com has Fighters Megamix, Mortal Kombat, Sonic Jam and among the cancelled titles Symphony of the Night, Command&Conquer and Metal Gear Solid. R-zone had Panzer Dragoon, Virtua Fighter, Nights..., Primal Rage, Road Rash, Virtua Cop and Battle Area Toshinden

Why not? :) It's a powerful thing for a handheld of that era. It got an exclusive Elder Scrolls game, some decent turn based strategy games, a few other RPGs (one of them is based on p&p RPG called Rifts) and an MMORPG (!).

I'm going with the Gamecube for all the reasons previously posted, and also because it was the last true gaming console. It doesn't play movies, it doesn't surf the web, and it barely had multiplayer. Dammit, now I want to get another one.
Current systems: Nintendo Switch and XBox 360,
