Right, plus they gave you a free personal pan pizza from a coupon in the instruction manual. It was delicious.

Alan wake had some that almost ruined the game for me. Make sure you get those ENERGIZER batteries for your flashlight! We came to this vacation spot in our FORD vehicle with its amazing SYNC technology. At one point late into the game, during a very hectic scene you come across a TV you can turn on (all the TV's before this had had interesting "episodes" of a Twilight Zone type show) and what do you get? BAM! Ford commercial.

Yakuza series. Lots of product placement but it never feels off.

Boss Coffee anyone?

I remember Rayman 3 came with a coupon for Welch's Grape Juice in the back of the manual. Mine is still unused. I seem to recall Ubisoft placing coupons in several other PS2-era games of theirs.

I played Wipeout before Redbull ever hit shelves in my local grocery stores, so I thought it was a fictional drink with advanced chemistry technologies to "enhance reaction time". When it turned out to be real, I loved it and felt like I was drinking something from the future. Then they started doing those stupid "Red Bull gives you wings" commercials and I was like "meh."
