what were the four games?Blu wrote:Won a Sega Saturn with four games on ebay for $40.00.
Just saw it didn't have any video hook-ups. I hope this puppy works!

P.T.O. Pacific Theater of Operations
SIM City 2000
Sega Saturn 3 Game: Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop, Daytona USA
NHL All Star Hockey
Sega Screams Volume 1
Looks like there's more than four, though the other two are disc only. Should I be worried this puppy won't work if they haven't included the video cables?

That, and I accidentally bid on an auction where the seller was auctioning off Burning Rangers Like New, with no feedback? Seems shady dealings.

I wouldn't worry TOO much. And video cables are CHEAP for Saturn. I think the RB store even has em in stock right now.

Yeah, just snagged one. Cross your fingers, let's hope this bad boy boots. I read the guide and I hear it's quite a durable console, so we'll see!noiseredux wrote:I wouldn't worry TOO much. And video cables are CHEAP for Saturn. I think the RB store even has em in stock right now.

which model? Model 1 (oval buttons) or 2 (round buttons)? Personally, I've found the model 1 better built (I've owned both now). Though I don't know if that's par for the course. As long as it works, $40 is a great price with games man. Saturn F'ing rules.Blu wrote:Yeah, just snagged one. Cross your fingers, let's hope this bad boy boots. it's not "bad," no. I personally had better luck so far (knocks on wood) with my M1. But I've not heard this is like 'the norm.'Blu wrote:Model 2. Is that bad?

You'll want a model 2 if you want it modded.Blu wrote:Model 2. Is that bad?
