Sorry man, that's tough. Anything you can sell on here to help take the heat off?

Quack.
I also got an email stating, "Tell me to eff off if you don't want to be my friend anymore. But unfriending me on facebook is a dick move".

It keeps getting better and better.

Sorry to hear alienjesus. Hope things turn around quickly for you and I hope this doesn't mean you won't be sending payment for the auction item you won.

Today I learned that being friends on Facebook is more important than being friends IRL.

You were the lucky one.
A friend of mine got me to sign up for FB when I was a freshman in college. I didn't mind it in it's infancy, but it's evolved into some borg-like mess that, frankly, frightens me; Mostly coinciding with the admittance of high schooler registration.

Twitter also scares the ish out of me.

I unfriended someone for the first time this week. He was my least favorite co-worker at Walmart, who had pestered me into friending him when we first met. Now that I never see him anymore, I can do that without listening to whatever he has to say about it.

I love facebook for keeping in contact with cronies that are thousands of miles away. With the time difference it makes it easy to keep in contact with my friends in California, fb is an easy way to keep in touch. It's also great to keep up with friends who travel a lot.

Frown: Leaving town as soon as my wife comes home from work. Doesn't sound like her Grandfather is doing so hot.

He has had major heart issues, and is at the beginning stages of dementia. Her family blows things out of proportion*, and hopefully that is what they're doing now and this is just a visit to lift spirits.

On my last visit her Grandmother pulled me aside and said "Well, he's starting to slow down and it gets me concerned". I thought "He's 92 for crying out loud, and he can carry a conversation without trailing off. He's doing better than swell".

I said, "I think he's in phenomenal shape both physically and mentally".

What is there to be scared about with twitter or Facebook? It never causes me any grief, and I get to keep in touch with old friends and family that I don't live near anymore.

I wasn't expecting things to happen as they have done, but I'm sure I can find $6 from somewhere. I should be alright for it.
