That reminds me I need to put in some time with Fire Arrow still.

Another shoot em' up Sunday for me.

Rolled out of bed. Played:

-Mars Matrix (Dreamcast)
-Thunder Force IV (Saturn)
-DoDonPachi (Saturn)
-Battle Garegga (Saturn)
-Galactic Attack (Saturn)

Mars Matrix really is the real man's shmup. Seriously, after an hour of that I'm ready to stare any boss from any game in the face. You start to see bullet patterns and holes you never noticed before in other shmups.

After playing Bubble Bobble last night, I did Tokio on Taito Legends. Got the farthest I ever did there.

That was from the demo. I ended up somewhere on the right side between Shinjuku and Yoyogi. Saw the boss twice, which is no small feat.

Awesome choice.

I'm still logging runs on fast striker.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

Been playing a bunch of Psikyo games recently. Any interest in having high score threads for the following?

Sengoku Ace/Samurai Aces
Sengoku Blade/Tengai
Strikers 1945
Strikers 1945 II

I'd go for Strikers 1945 I & II. Played them enough times for real (and on MAME) to score decently enough.

I have it but haven't popped in the disc. I really need to actually give it a go :(

As much as I like the SOTM club, I always feel guilty when I am playing a shmup OTHER than what's on the calendar for the month
