Playing Dead Space 3, it makes me wonder if there was something originally intended than the final product that I have here. I could totally be wrong about this one but it does seem more action orientated than usual and the story is shit compared to my past Dead Space experiences with the 2nd being the best (imo). Does anyone know more information about this?
Which could make for another interesting topic: What games have been heavily altered due to excessive editing or last minute decision making, creating a totally different type of gaming experience or storyline than what was originally decided upon?

Kotaku has a review up you'll probably agree with. I don't think it was last-minute anything. EA just wanted to take the series down the same road RE has gone.
