Kaskade feat. Skylar Grey - Room For Happiness (Fire) (Official Video) (Mildly NSFW; You'll see.)
Before he got all famous, Kaskade used to be a house DJ in Utah where I used to live. I was very involved in their rave/club scene back in the late 90s/early 00s. I'm always happy to see that he is doing so well now because I still think of him as a local boy.

I was too early teenager and too new-englander at that time, but I would love to find a time machine, and step back into that period/location. I found Kaskade kinda late (after he released the Strobelite Seduction album) and I listen to his stuff a lot in spurts, but it usually makes me feel really happy when I do.

Listening to Cooly G at the moment. She has this moody/dreamy approach to dubstep that has this way of smoothly flirting about the beat in a way that is intoxicating and seductive rather than the more commonplace bombast and histrionics that are more typical of this genre (at least as it is known today). Don't wait for the bass and beat to drop; this is music that winds between the spaces.

@JT: did I already tell you that A$AP Rocky has a song with Skrillex? ("Wild For The Night")

I've been listening to various vocaloids today. There's something fascinating about these fabricated pop stars where even their voices, bodies, and personalities have been computer generated.

Miku Hatsune sings Kocchi Muite Baby

Luka Megurine sings Dancer in the Dark

Rin Kagamine sings Melt Down

Miku Hatsune sings World Is Mine
