MMV should fit in there somewhere.

Let's not pretend that the boss weapons are good in any Mega Man game besides 9. Except for that they vary from adequate to thoroughly useless.jfrost wrote:I wish the Robot Master weapons in X games were actually useful.
I still think that this is one of the coolest things in MMX. My guess is that Capcom just skimped on it because it was harder to do.AppleQueso wrote:So why didn't any of the other games in the X series ever do that thing in the first one where beating certain stages in certain order would change other stages? Like how beating Chill Penguin's stage first would freeze over Flame Mammoth's stage.
I think they just replaced the idea with having the optional bosses appear in certain stages based on the order that you played themDylan wrote:Let's not pretend that the boss weapons are good in any Mega Man game besides 9. How can you rank X4 over X2 & X3? The jump physics in X4 are terrible.MMX > MM = MM2 = MM3 > MMX4 > MMX2 = MMX3 > everything else
True, the tornado is X's strongest weapon. To me, the difference is that, while Storm Tornado is strongest, I still found myself using heat-seekers on Vile/Boomer, the flame attack on the madrill midboss and dozers in the armadillo stage, etc. Whereas in MM2, I basically stuck to the MM weapon the entire game.TheRev wrote:The Storm Tornado is Mega Man X's Metal Blade. Probably the best Weapon in the entire X series.dunpeal2064 wrote: Compare these to MM, where the weapons are almost primarily for bosses, and MM2, where you use one weapon for the entire game.
