Assassin's Creed - They have exploited this way too much. I thought the premise of the recent American Revolution was a joke when I first head it.

I can second this, they have put out installments like it were Madden or something! I remember the first one blew me away, for the first like half, then I got bored and never went back. By the time the latest one came out, I was kind of interested again, got to try it out for a bit, and thought "not a lot has changed in 5 years".

But really, those are games I wouldnt mind seeing go away.

However, if fans still enjoy more installments, why shouldnt they get to play it?

If I am no longer interested in a series, then I will just not play it i.e. Assassin's Creed.

It doesn't really bother me if they make more of something than I would personally enjoy.

I completely agree. I can't stand games that have sequels every 10 to ∞ years! I'd rather just have more Nintendogs and action based Resident Evil games!

There really aren't any game franchises I can think of that I'd want dead. Most of the time I just want a franchise to change, not die. The closest I can think of would be Gears of War but only because I want Epic to go back to the Unreal games and...

Dunno, haven't played any beyond StarFox64, but an HD remake of the SNES version would be cool. HD graphics, arranged orchestra music, but keep the random gibberish noises the animals make, I hate it when they talk proper words.

Not sure what to call it, so I'm going to call it the yarn games. Kirby's Epic Yarn, and now the new Yoshi. The art style just doesn't do it for me and the gameplay was to kiddy and easy. I wish they weren't making the new Yoshi game in a similar style.

Franchise burnout left and right for me. Assassin's Creed, etc etc etc. Anything with yearly annual releases has really bored me at this point and by the time I get to the third game or something, there's already 72 sequels and 119 spinoffs and 186 DLC's. I can't keep up nor do I care too.

But yeah Resident Evil and Final Fantasy instantly come to mind for me. The dips in quality are hilarious and considering Square Enix should just straight up change their name to Final Fantasy, man I'm just done with it. Resident Evil without Mikami isn't Resident Evil.

Oh and Castlevania too probably. If it's not 2D, just please... just don't even bother trying to repeatedly reinvent it.

The Franchises I would like to see die are Bioshock. the first is great. YAY! Now let's do the same thing, but....in the air!! ooohh noooo!!! Scary!!

I second the Asassins Creed sentiment, but to a weird extent. I want them to stop beating around the bush and finish the story. There was supposed to be only 3 games in the series, but they were able to stretch the series out to an egregious extent. Did we really need 3 Ezio games? No!!!!!!!

I also want to see Pokemon series to shit or get off the pot. I love Pokemon, don't get me wrong, but not much is really happening that differenciates itself from the others in its series. Let's step it up. Fingers crossed for X/Y

I would also like the Sonic all Stars Racing Series to end. Why do they need to keep pouring salt into wounds by adding racers that we will never see new games of? Let's put in Ryo Hazuki, Beat, the dwarf from Golden Axe....Why lord why do you torture us?
