I was browsing the active topics and misread the "franchises that you want nintendo to bring back" and the "how did you last die?" threads as one sentence. So I thought that it would be fun to hear about what franchises you think should end for good... or more dramatically... the ones you want to see DIE!

Here are a few I wouldn't mind digging a deep grave for.....

The Sims... They have beat this horse in the mouth till its dead and now it's starting to rot.

World of Warcraft - I can't believe I am still seeing advertising on TV for the latest expansion pack... 2006 is long gone... let it DIE already!

Mario Party - While still there is some fun to be had, I think the franchise lost its magic a long time ago. Let another company come up with party games and focus on bringing back other core franchises like F-Zero and Starfox!

What are some franchises that you guys wouldn't mind picking up a shovel for?

I can just as easily not play future games in a franchise I've grown sick of so I don't have any I actively want to see buried.

Assassin's Creed - They have exploited this way too much. I thought the premise of the recent American Revolution was a joke when I first heard about it.

Super Monkey Ball - No explanation necessary

Pokemon - Isn't it the same game almost each time?

Silent Hill - I love some of the first entries, but they have been ruining the legacy with recent releases.
