If you take the letter "V" out of the famous yellow bracelet, it still makes sense. - Me

So while checking out some stores I actually run into some people who are actually into retro games, collecting, etc. Instead of making conversation like a normal person would, I just kinda awkwardly interjected into their own conversations once or twice and just kinda grabbed some cheap NES games and left.

It's like "OH CRAP THESE PEOPLE ARE INTO THE THINGS I'M INTO THAT'S AWESOME" and then I froze up.

Feels bad man.

Tried to awkwardly brag about my Sega CD deal. They agreed it was a pretty good deal but it just kinda ended right there.

The part I keep kicking myself over is that there were several points where I actually could've interjected with something relevant but didn't. Gaaaaaah.

They're not Racketfolk. They're the weird ones. Probably from Sega-16.

I've done something similar, though when I did it the guy was having more of a conversation with himself. He as searching through some NES carts and said something along the lines of:

Guy: "I wish I could find a Gyromite cart...."

Me, walking by and not stopping: "Someone's looking for an adapter."

Guy:

Admit it, you were just trying to confuse them so you could grab the goods they hadn't noticed and run!

There wasn't anything THAT good. The store we were in is generally pretty overpriced.

The cheap NES games I left with did include a $3 copy of Journey to Silius though...
