There are "good" stoners and "bad" stoners.
Just like sober people, some are annoying and a waste of time, others are great people.

Several people at work are completely convinced I'm a stoner.
I don't know how to respond to them.

Assuming you're not, just do something strange once in a while to keep them on their toes.
Also, if you think someone is a stoner, wait for a busy day at work and then tell them they smell like weed even if they don't. It'll freak them out for a few minutes.

Yep. I know tons of upstanding productive members of society that happen to smoke, and I also know plenty of idiots who smoke (and plenty who don't).RyaNtheSlayA wrote:There are "good" stoners and "bad" stoners.

Smile: I have a solid group of six local friends that I can count on for anything. Not a huge group of friends, but we hang out almost twice during the weekend. We have silly parties like True Blood parties, Pajama parties, we even have parties where we put a jigsaw puzzle together (we have ways of making everything fun, even a jigsaw puzzle).
Frown: I have an awful feeling one of the couples is going to get divorced. I think the separation may take place tonight. I don't know what happened, kind of don't want to, but I do know that both people involved have always been decent people.
I'm doing everything I can to not stick my nose into their business, but will be a sounding board if needed. I also offered both people involved one of my guest rooms if they needed it.
Neither people involved are drama queens, so when I go the message "$#!T is F****ed up, bad. Our relationship will probably be over tonight, and I don't think it can ever be repaired" I knew something serious had to have taken place as they've been married for half a dozen years.
I hope and pray that they can work things out, but when a close friend says something of that magnitude, you get worried.
Smile: Have a routing number for a paypal account for the charity auction that I will be sharing after work hours.

People at school seemed to think I was too. The only time I smoke is when I'm on fire, but that thankfully isn't very often, so I'm not sure why people thought this. I do wear t-shirts and shorts all the time and generally keep something between a goatee and scruff, but I don't wear 'weedy' band shirts or things to shade my eyes all the time. There was a pizza place downtown that friends and I went to often. More than once I had people on the busy sidewalk ask me if I had any weed to sell. They weren't yelling at the top of their lungs, but they weren't being overly quiet or using codespeak either. Though it really hasn't happened much since school. *shrug*AppleQueso wrote:Several people at work are completely convinced I'm a stoner.

I dealt with the same thing. Always asked "are you high?", asked if I would sell weed, etc. Years later I was diagnosed with a chronic inflammatory eye ailment. Guess that was making me look doped up. Lovely.Hobie-wan wrote:People at school seemed to think I was too.AppleQueso wrote:Several people at work are completely convinced I'm a stoner.

People used to think the same of me back when my hair was longer. I would always insist I wasn't, and if they didn't believe me, I'd just change the subject.AppleQueso wrote:Several people at work are completely convinced I'm a stoner.
I don't know how to respond to them.

I don't remember anyone ever caring about being a stoner in high school, and certainly not afterward.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
There was one at our school, but no one ever indulged him because everyone could see there was something 'off' about him and his intensity to find drugs. Turned out he was an undercover cop. He must have forgotten what he learned in subtlety classo.pwuaioc wrote:I don't remember anyone ever caring about being a stoner in high school, and certainly not afterward.
