I totally get why ppl use smaller displays to tate,40" is almost too much real estate to work with in super precise games....

Just got Gradius V. Now I wish I had gotten the expedited shipping.

Gradius V is such an awesome game. It gets so crazy in those last few stages. I haven't played it in quite some time, but it took me an embarrassing amount of credits to get through it. I remember being down to my last life, with no credits left, and taking down the last boss. And then you get access to the "Ship Edit", which changes everything!

Probably my favorite shooter on the system, although Espgaluda is a good contender with that sweet arrange mode.

If only Ibara and Mushihimesama wouldn't have been butchered so badly, they would both easily contend for best shooter on the system.

Yeah... All of them Burns of them, but none the less I do have all of them

They look good but not AS good as Thunderforce VI or Gradius V and Espgaluda isn't as good as II is, same for the others that have sequels on the 360, the only exception is Ibara.

Espgaluda isn't as good as II, I agree, but the arrange mode in itself is fantastic. The difficulty of the game is ramped up quite a bit, and the characters and scoring mechanic from Esp Ra.De are added in on top of the galuda scoring.

I think that arrange mode makes Galuda one of the better ps2 shmups, since it is exclusive to the system... but I still do agree that Gradius V is nicer looking, and I probably enjoy the game overall more. I actually haven't tried Thunderforce VI
