Taco Bell. Overpriced, brown grease covered slop in tiny, tiny portions. The food tastes horrible, and the meat is in a mysterious pellet form.

I don't eat there if I can avoid it. And I usually can.

I think I saw a window sticker on a Wendy's today that appeared to only have 4 nuggets.

I don't understand people having such delicate constitutions that Taco Bell messes them up.

Neither do I. I've never once in my life had any stomach issues with their food.

That's a good way to put it, yeah.* Taco Bell doesn't give me stomach problems, but it makes the next 2 days worth of farts smell pretty terrible. And (TMI ALERT TMI ALERT) the poops are pretty awful too.

But I don't get stomach pain, or whatever.

*Totally unrelated to Taco Bell, but about food: I like to say that "X is the bacon of X." Like, at a steak house, the marbled ribeye is the bacon of the steak selection, as an example. But of course it's all opinion. Some might not like rib eye. BUT... bacon? Bacon is the bacon of meats.

Your intestines have a mind of their own. Literally. The gut has its own independent nervous system. Weird huh? There's also the fact that the bacteria in your gut outnumber the human cells in your entire body, and the specific demographics of that ecosystem can have a big effect on how you process food.

Personally, I can eat almost anything. Ghetto ass chinese food, 2 week old leftovers, beans all day long... But Arby's roast beef gives me more trouble than I want to talk about in public. It's the only thing that's ever done that to me, and it does it consistently. My gut just doesn't like it. No problems with their market fresh sandwiches though.

It depends on what you get at Tacobell. I use to eat there all the time, mostly beef hardtacos and the baha box, then got violently ill off of it - a bout of Ecoli 0157H7 will do that, and didnt eat it for years. Then started eating it again about three years ago and one day, again got violently ill with Ecoli 0157H7. I wont eat there again and just the smell makes me ill. I dont really have a weak stomach I can eat hot curry for lunch and cheap Chinese for dinner and feel fine, but after getting Ecoli twice from the same chain, I am done with them.

Oh dear God not here too.

I think the "Literally Police" may be the next "We already have a thread for that".

Veggie stir fry tonight.

Baby Corn
H20 chestnuts
Mung Bean sprouts
Carrots
Ginger
Garlic
Broccoli
Bok Choy
Celery
Green Onion
Bella Shrooms

a dash of sesame oil, a tad of soy sauce. Done. My wife may add scheuwaun (sp?) peppercorns and hot sauce. I like mine hot, but as light as possible.

I know I know, I was mostly joking. :)

I did something to change my intestinal ecology years ago. I'm not sure if I killed certain bacteria with a heavy drinking night or a lot of spicy food, or introduced new ones along the way. Pretty much everything makes me burp now. I thankfully don't have issues with lower intestinal gas, but even a cup of coffee on its own will make me burp a little shortly thereafter.

I'm lucky that I can eat just about anything (that my taste buds agree with) and I'll be fine. I used to regularly get cheap Chinese take out for lunch at work and sit there all day with it at room temperature until I went home. A quick nuke and finish the rest for dinner.

I have eaten bad food a few times before and gotten food poisoning, but I just suffered through it as my guts were very unhappy, but I was never bad enough to go get my stomach pumped.
