Maybe it's one of those situations where an original script was adapted into it at the last minute

Wasn't the movie somewhat based around Jimmy and Billy's medallions? Or maybe something close to that?noiseredux wrote: it's not that kind of bad movie. It's just a really bad movie. And completely baffling. Other than the four character names listed above, I have no idea what the movie has to do with the games.

sure. If you want to say there was a plot in there somewhere, then yeah. The treatment would be "the movie is somewhat based around Jimmy and Billy's medallions."Luke wrote: Wasn't the movie somewhat based around Jimmy and Billy's medallions? Or maybe something close to that?
Oh and street gangs with themes like The Warriors come out at night which is why there's a curfew for everyone in 2007. And cars run on garbage, I think because of a big earthquake or something?
The final scene is Abobo asking if he can hangout with Billy & Jimmy and he drives their car and they're scared cuz he drives erratically.

What do you mean it's not that kind of movie? It's has the perfect amount of early 90s cheesiness to sit down and laugh out loud at while drunk with friends.noiseredux wrote:it's not that kind of bad movie. It's just a really bad movie. At this point, I think even mentioning Dark Knight Rises or Green Lantern in this thread is asking for an argument from Luke, lol.

Since he finally left I've been singing "Since you've been gone", and I'm not trying to be funny.
Is anyone as hyped as I am for 42? Not crazy about the trailer with Jay-Z rapping in the background, but it looks riveting, moving, unique, and believable. Plus, few people deserve the status of being an icon. #42 sure as hell deserves it.

Django Unchained. Fucking awesome way to kick off "see remaining best picture nominees" week. Y'all need to see that shit, it's QT's best since Pulp Fiction.
