Random Gaming Thoughts

I haven't bought any new Gamecube games in years, and I really should. There's only a fairly small selection of 'must have' games on my list and they'd be nice to get. Luckily I have a lot of the first party stuff released in the UK, the ones I want and need are:

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
Mario Power Tennis
Mario Party 6 & 7
Doshin the Giant
1080 Avalanche
Kirby Air Ride
Starfox Assault
WarioWare
Wario World

There are several other pricy games I want too though, like Ikaruga and Baten Kaitos.

Are the prices for those games as crazy ridiculous in the UK as they are here? How much would Ikaruga go there for? Do you use eBay UK? You don't want to see *my* newly created WTB list for the Gamecube. It stretches from the cheap to the super uber expensive

I just actually scored a great deal on Mario Golf though today, so I'll be getting that soon It links up to Mario Golf GBA!

That's it, I'm boycotting the psn store. I absolutely hate the new layout. I just spent 20 minutes trying to find a game and after I did I just said fuck it I don't want to support that shit if it takes that long to find a game.

At least the Japanese store still has the old layout so I can find things at least and I don't even know any Japanese. FFS Sony get it together. I wonder if revenue has dropped since the redesign?

Mario Party 7 - £35
Doshin the Giant - £10
1080 Avalanche - £5 or less
Kirby Air Ride - £5? Not many on ebay
Starfox Assault - £20-30
WarioWare - £5
Wario World - £5 -10
Ikaruga - £15-20
Baten Kaitos - £20-40

So generally most of them aren't THAT bad. I have a lot of the more expensive Cube games I want already, such as Wind Waker (£25-40), Tales of Symphonia (£25-45) and Skies of Arcadia (£45-60). Luckily I bought most of those at the time. I was actually surprised to see Skies going for so much, as I got my copy for about £15 on clearance.

Those are pretty decent prices. Ikaruga goes for about $20 and up here too. Not as bad as some of those games get here

So far I prefer the 3DS game library - Mario, Zelda, Tales of the Abyss, Code of Princess, etc...

I also can't decide if I want to keep my silver GameCube (no box) or my purple GameCube (with box). I prefer the former one's color, but I also like having boxed systems.

You're not going to get much for a Gamecube but I would keep whichever one that has the component cable output. I think the silver ones tend to lack the port?
