Depends on which one you get. I have the DLC-11 and yes, that thing is strong and will last forever. I bought it ~16 years ago.

I also have the mini Cuisinart (1 cup?) and it's still running but it might burn out any day. I get a certain faint odor from the motor/brushes every time I use it.

My mix (Kitchen Aid KS5) is 22 years old and is still good as new.

Frown: Im still sick and that blows.

Smile: I might have been asked to join a band, but as a guitarist instead of a drummer. I was hoping to be a drummer for a band, but this is fine. We'll see how it goes.

Amazing, nobody ever seems to need a guitarist, but everyone seems to always need a drummer... and here you are unable to get into a band as a drummer yet getting into one as a guitarist instead. :lol:
