Most anticipated games of 2013

Post by Metal Militia »

So with 2013 just beginning, what are some of your most anticipated games coming out this year? (Didnt see a thread on this topic)The big one for me is probably Grand Theft Auto V. Other games I'm excited to play include Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, Gears of War: Judgement. God of War: Ascension, Dead Space 3, Last of Us, Aliens: Colonial Marine, and Rayman Legends.

is MGS Ground Zeroes supposed to come out in 2013? If so that.

I'm looking forward to Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

..and it's not really a game, but I'm also looking forward to Nintendo's upcoming e3. I want to see what the Wii U has in store for the future.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is the only one that I can think of at the moment. And once I heard that a large focus of it is gonna be on multiplayer, a lot of my anticipation died.

The Zelda game for Wii U, but I'm doubting we'll see that this year. I'm sure Nintendo will have something about it at E3 this year, though.

More than any games, I'm looking forward to new console announcements at 2013's E3. It seems the new Xbox is almost a guarantee with this countdown clock thing Xbox is doing. I'd imagine Playstation is gonna have something concrete to present as well, since we all know they're working on something.

Maybe Capcom will pull their heads out and give us a surprise announcement of Mega Man Legends 3? ...right, and Sega will finally announce the Dreamcast 2.

EDIT: Oh man! I just remembered. Metal Gear: Revengeance! That game looks awesome! The demo-videos look action packed, the graphics look beautiful, and it just looks fun as hell to cause damage in that bad-ass high-tech ninja suit & sword.

Dreamcast 2? I think Colecovision HD is more likely!

Since Bravely Default still hasn't been announced for the united states, my current love for it has flowed into Fire Emblem:Awakening. Other than that, I'm hoping e3 will bring good news.

Dark souls 2, I'm not sure if it is supposed to release this year but I've got my fingers crossed.

The new Battlefield game that will come out this year. I'm going to hope it will be more Bad Company than Battlefield 3 but who am I kidding I'll be getting it day one most likely.

Grand Theft Auto 5, I'm looking forward to this more than I think. I just started playing San Andreas and would love the depth of SA with the mechanics of gta 4. When is it supposed to release anyway? February or something soon right?

And last but not least The Last Guardian, I'm allowed to dream right?

Well, it's comming out in about 2 weeks but once I heard some months ago about

Ni No Kuni Wrath Of The White Witch.

I had to pre order it.

Sadly I cant afford that big nice box set directly from Namcobandai.

But I've been paying off little by little at gamestop.

Just the fact that its a Studio Ghibli endorsed product was enough for me to slap it with my money.

Now I can only hope I have the time to play it.

Aliens: Colonial Marines
Anarchy Reigns
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Metal Gear Rising
Yakuza 5 - Release in the states!

I'm really hoping the first two are received well, and sell well. Aliens has been in development for so long I'm concerned it'll be written off.

That and I'd like some news on the Wii U--I want to make the jump into that console sometime in the relative future, so more first party goodness would be cool to hear.
