You are standing at the entrance to Castle Shotgun. The gates are securely locked, with an unappealing sign on the front. The sign reads "Whoops! RPS is having a bit of a wobbly. Don't worry, we'll be back soon!"

To the left of the gates is a large opening in the wall, which Jim is leaning into. John is perched on a small rock nearby, while Alec and Tim are standing on the other side of the gates. A pile of magazines is scattered in a corner.

You can see Jim, John, Tim, Alec and a Refresh Button here.

Well, there's a lot of places I end up in my internet travels, but my main ones would be:

Whedonesque - Possibly the best source for Whedon info, and Joss and other Whedon alums have been known to post there. Some of the moderators there are douchebags though, not even remotely as laid back as the mods here. Whedonesque has strict dictators that rule with an iron fist

Pop Candy blog on usatoday - The site has undergone some changes that I don't like. They have a new visual layout and the annoying requirement to log in to facebook to post comments. Still a good site for covering not just pop culture, but an emphasis on the geekier sides of it. Whitney Matheson is pretty cool, though she has on occasion dissed shows that I like.

GOG - This is more of a recent thing, as I only just recently acquired a decent gaming computer

filestube - WARNING! It's a pirate site, but I don't feel guilty about using it. I mostly use it to download episodes of shows that I have missed. I also download a lot of digital comics, but given the hundreds of dollars I actually spend on REAL comic book at my local comic book shop on a monthly basis, I don't lose sleep over the occasional illegal download that I make.

Allwrestling.com - I don't know if I'd call it the best wrestling news site, but they always seem to have all the news and rumors that I want on there. So I've not bothered checking out other sites.

Hardcoregaming 101 - Honestly, if you want a REAL education in video games (which 90% of the people who run popular gaming sites don't have), you go here. Then you go to racketboy:)

Facebook - I'm not a facebook junkie, but I occasionally chat with old friends on there or just post things when I bored. I tried Twitter, but lost interest in it entirely. I never got what the big deal is with Twitter.

youtube - Who doesn't use this site?

wikipedia - See above

Netflix - I don't actually have an account. I just make use of a relative's account for free.

amazon - For all my shopping needs

ebay - If you can't find it on amazon...

http://www.powerfulintentions.org - I'm a bit of a New Age guy, not big on religion

I don't visit movie sites as much as I used to, but when I do it's:

rottentomatoes
empireonline

There are two other sites I like to visit in my internet travels, but this is a family site right

I'll just say that one of them involves kind girls. Google is your friend

EDIT: Oh, I forgot gamerankings and metacritic. I'm not a slave to critical opinion, but it's still useful to know what kind of buzz a game is getting. I also occasionally visit gaming help sites like gamefaqs or trophy/achievement sites

Just look at some of the names of these sites. Hilarious!...

WARNING Links within the link are definitely NSFW...

Sorry, those names were just too hilarious not to share...

I don't think the op (or half the people who have posted) knows how hilarious, yet depressing, this thread is.

If you can remember the early days of the internet, it's too hilarious to be depressing.

Remember the early days? I had Prodigy on my IBM PS1 in 1990.

And no one has listed "Google".
