It's annoying and they suck. They are pretty much like old blockbuster Rental/Void stickers from back then.

I've got some stuff down here where I live that originally came from farther up north. And I've gotten product with that Gamedude sticker on it. Some SNES,GEN and NES games and some strategy guides with the stores sticker on them.

I've googled that store in the past and it looks like they have cool stuff.

But that sticker! Arrgh!
Yes! You peel it off and it still leaves residue and "void" where the sticker was. This baffles me because they seem to cater to collectors by only taking in games in really good condition and they don't take disk based games without the original case and manual. It's easy to get the residue off with Goo Gone but it's still annoying. I bought a copy of Slam City for Sega CD and it's in excellent condition- or was. It comes in a cardboard box and they put the damn sticker on there. I can't see getting the residue off without damaging the box.

They do have great stuff though. The have stuff for pretty much any system you can think of.

Pokemon fire red and Zelda 2 classic for five bucks together with a few other GBA titles, though I do not recall what those were.

I finally got Suikoden 2, for the PS1 Price was marked $105, had a 75 dollar trade so I was golden at 30 bucks. This thing was really clean also, not a scratch.

Gamedude's been doing that stupid sticker thing for as long as I can remember. Even back in the early nineties, I got a used copy of HARD DRIVIN' for the Genesis. (It had a cool car on the cover. How could a kid resist?) It has that retarded sticker. I recently went through all my games, and got rid of ALL THOSE STICKERS! I didn't realize how many games my family got from GameDude. Jeez.

What's the point anyway? So people can't resell their games back to them? I got Spiderman for gamecube from them, didn't like it, removed the sticker, and sold it back.

They even put it on VMUs, and strategy guides!

Almost forgot, Lollipop Chainsaw complete for 10 dollars shipped from Ebay of all places. It has been shipped but I dont have it yet. Might be something wrong with it but you never know. I have not really seen this for less than 25-30 bucks yet. I am sure the game blows but for 10 dollars and free shipping I am not gonna pas it by. I got it on a "newly listed" buy it now.

Why do I feel like a perve for even buying this LOL.

Is it a glossy or at least semi glossy box? If so it should be possible to do so carefully with a lot of elbow grease and a plastic eraser.

Or you could fight fire with fire and use some tape...

Make a little ball with some tape, sticky side facing out. Repeatedly press it on the sticky stuff you want to remove. The sticky stuff should come off and stick to the tape. Make a new ball when the one you're using stops sticking. Rinse, repeat...

Safer with an eraser since it will stick to the glue a little at a time and make it stick to the box less. The tape method is good on plastic, but you could end up with tape that sticks to the box a little too well and pulls up some.

True, depending on the kind of tape you use...

A charity shop in the area I work regularly pile all thier unsold items outside on the pavement for collection by a waste disposal company.

The most recent pile has been there a couple of days without collection, every morning I have to tidy up the mess from people rooting amongst the pile :(

These were scattered around the pile...

No games, most with manuals.

I wasn't putting these back on the pile, if I have to tidy them up i'm KEEPING them

That is a lot of DS cases, good find to have extra on hand. I wonder if the Charity shop is selling the games without the tossed cases?
