Seems like there's a lot of Racketbabies this year.
Thanks! Yeah I know a few others have been having some new additions lately as well. We got to take her home tonight, so far so good.

Thanks. I'm going for a Carl Grissom look for my gameroom, and this ashtray fits the bill to a Mr.T.

Poker nights with windows open, two oscillating fans, central air, and no complaining about 60 degrees being cold = cigars are allowed. And that's maybe three times a year.

Ticked:

Why the the fuck would you have ebay auctions end around Christmas if you aren't going to ship for over a fucking week? I had one auction that ended 12-24 and another that ended 12-25. I paid them both 12-25. The earlier just marked that package as shipped yesterday and the latter just now marked theirs as shipped.

I figured that they were just lazy sellers that hadn't bothers to set the status. I get those all the time. But shipping a week and a half later? If you're going to be on vacation or busy because of the holiday, don't have your damn auction end at that time.

That's nothin. Paid for an item on 12/15, waited for weeks and weeks for it to come, sent a few messages to seller, got a refund *today* with the reason "too much stuff came up in my personal life and ebay isn't a top priority anymore"

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice...................

At least I didn't leave a negative feedback like 2 others did this past week

That sucks. I can see how there's a legitimate reason that they're not explaining because it is personal though. They did at least give you a refund without you having to ask.

:( : Today has been a series of small disasters from the time I woke up. When I went to my car to leave for work last night, I doscovered the falt-tire fairy had visited me while I slept. I had to take my parent's huge van instead, and will have to fix that tire today. Then when I got to work, I was told that 9 people had called in and I would be stocking all of the GM side of the store alone with one other guy. Of course, we didn't finish but they kept the whip cracking. When I clocked out and went to the van, the locks on the doors were stiff and I was unable to get in my car for 25 minutes. 25 minutes of standing in the snow, trying to force the locks, not going home. Now that I am home, I have to figure out what to do with my flat and mail a game I sold on Ebay. And I need to do a workout somewhere in there before I go to sleep.

This is from last night:

Kinda sorta but not really ticked: My sister in law is kind of sick right now and was a little needy and wanting my wife at her side, so we had to drive across town to hang out with her. Her husband is out of town on biz. It was already 'late' in the evening (like 6pm) and I had to work this morning, but we went anyway.

Smile: I cooked dinner for her, (see my calabaza con pollo recipe in the recipes thread) and she complemented me on my cooking. Said 'it was awesome!' Shes a great cook, so coming from her, it means a lot.

I have shipping woes myself. Ordered a large item from Amazon on the 29th - paid $59(!!!) for expedited shipping, it's a time-sensitive item and I need it quickly.

Fucker hasn't even shipped yet.
