This movie does not get old to me. The same old jokes will always make me laugh, I'll still love each of the characters, and I'll always remember seeing it in the theater.
Yes, Tyler Perry productions aren't for everyone, but I'm telling you this movie is flat out hilarious.
After reading a review of its recent blu-ray release, my wife and I watched Christopher Nolan's:
Following (1997) - This is Christopher Nolan's first feature film, and it set a precedent for the "puzzle box" movies (i.e., Memento, The Prestige, Inception) that he would make later in his career. It is filmed in beautiful, grainy black and white - which looks great on my Sony HD CRT - and it is a short (70 minutes) and satisfying film. I highly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of Christopher Nolan's films, and despite the recent blu-ray release, it is still available for streaming on Netflix.
The F.P. - its a dystopian future where gang battles are handled via Beat Beat Revolution. It was shot really well for a low budget indie. But it is definitely a movie to watch with others. It is over the top bad, like The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.
Not being snarky, but why? They don't seem to justify the price tag.
Most new TVs with the great picture and everything seem to have 3D so why not? When I bought mine early 2012, it was hard to get the newer models w/o.
I'm getting a pretty decent Vizio 3DTV (They are cheap and awesome, I have a 1080p Vizio screen that I got 3-4 years ago and it works perfectly, the picture quality is amazing and the sound's great) since many filmmakers are actually taking advantage of 3D beyond just throwing stuff in your face (Like Pina, Life Of Pi, Prometheus, Cave Of Forgotten Dreams, The Hobbit, etc.) and because many games now have amazing 3D modes (Like Child Of Eden, Resistance 3, Crysis 2, Trine and Silent Hill Downpour).
