Like I want it to have the traditional experience, level-up, and menu-based battle system of a JRPG, but I want to see creatures and artwork from a Western sensibility. I want to see some bad-ass looking warriors, evil-looking mages, huge fire-breathing dragons, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Trolls, etc. And I want to see a Western art-style, rather than a Manga-influenced art-style.
What about the King's Field games? (also the other From Software RPGs).
Also, The 7th Saga.
I love the King's Field games, one of my all-time top series. But it's far from a traditional JRPG.

When did 12-15fps become acceptable? The game is nearly unplayable because of that. Even with a mouse and keyboard.
It's still in beta? Wow I thought they would have done a full release by now. I have a friend that plays Eve Online so I'm waiting for them to let you transfer isk before I start playing again, he promised me at least a couple billion.
Did you try to upgrade any skills? The whole create your drop trooper never made any sense to me. Way to confusing for me.
It's still a bit confusing but I got the gist of it. Not a fan of the purchasable weapons and such, but I guess if the game is F2P it's fine. I'd have a lot more interest if it were on PC, or even if it just ran at a higher framerate. As it is, I get frustrated within about 20 minutes of play.
Most of the weapons you buy with isk but you need Aug to be able to equip them and I thought you had to buy Aug with real monies or something. I should hop on and spend the skill points I've accumulated since I played last, I had most of what I wanted maxed out I think.
Fallout new vegas can be really unbalanced, i was walking around a area for a mission and suddenly my robot shoots a enemy i look and start running because a bunch of deathclaws are after me... and i died horribly. Those things eat bullets.

Finally beat Nanostray 2 last night. I've been wanting to beat that game for an embarrassingly long time. Also played some of the challenges for shits and giggles. I don't plan on clearing them all, I just wanted to play some of them.
