The PS3 updates are the worst, they take forever.

One advantage of the 360; I've never had a game update take more than 5 minutes.

Waiting sucks, but at the same time it's really awesome that console games can be patched now.

Yup. Then you try to play an original xbox game on your 360 and you are asked to download an update for the game to be able to play it. You download the update. Game still doesn't play...

The fuck did I just download then!?...

I've really been enjoying Company of Heroes lately. Even though I've played the game for many hours beforehand, I had never actually completed the campaign, only ever getting a few missions in before I headed online or into a skirmish. Finally taking it upon myself to get through it before the second one comes out. There's a lot of content there! The main game seems like it'll take another six or so hours and I've already sunk ten into it. Then there's the several expansion packs to take note of!

Also really enjoying Tekken on the WiiU, but, don't have much to say about it.

I swear no console I've ever owned seems to get as dusty as my ps3.

The 360 is smart enough to know the game is an OXbox game, but isn't smart enough to know before the update whether or not it is compatible.

I'd love to see a good JRPG, with the mythology and art-style of Western RPGs.

Like I want it to have the traditional experience, level-up, and menu-based battle system of a JRPG, but I want to see creatures and artwork from a Western sensibility. I want to see some bad-ass looking warriors, evil-looking mages, huge fire-breathing dragons, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Trolls, etc. And I want to see a Western art-style, rather than a Manga-influenced art-style.

What about the King's Field games? (also the other From Software RPGs).

Also, The 7th Saga.

BurningDoom: Older SNES JRPGs. Final Fantasy IV is chock full of the classic western ethos. It still contains many Japanese elements, but it has a sufficient and satisfying number of western baddies.
