Aren't there more Cave shooters for the iPad? Might only be able to download them from a Japanese account or something, but I recall:

Mushihimesama
Mushihimesama Futari 1.5
Deathsmiles
Dodonpachi DOJ (which was renamed "Maximum" or something)

There may have been others, but I am pretty sure at least those are released

The World Ends With You. Premium price but it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played regardless of platform.

ComicZeal. It's $5, I think. Great comic reader, it does collections, you can mix your collections, add whatever you like, and the best part - you can sync your comics with ComicZeal Sync (free) on your computer. No jailbreaking needed, it will sync the comics to your iPad. ,
I just got Comic Zeal a few days ago and have been using it to read Nintendo Power. It works well! You aren't supposed to use the sync app any longer. Just use iTunes.

Blech. I dont use iTunes at all. I dont even have it installed, so using the sync works great for me.

Spoken like a windows user. :D I felt the same way before I switched to Mac six years ago. It's fine on Mac but borderline malware on Windows.

The comic sync program is deprecated and unsupported now. It forces the old inefficient cbi database format.

I just hate iTunes. I do a lot of downloading of music and such, so I've never been a fan of iTunes handling my library or anything. For my iPod classic, I just use Sharepod. Don't need to authorize 5 devices or whatever, i can just plug my iPod in as a USB drive and copy music from/to it. I never used my iPhone to listen to music so I never worried about syncing it for that, and the iPad just backs up to the Cloud if need be, and we also don't use the pad for music, so we don't need iTunes for squat.

As long as comics are able to get onto the iPad and they run on ComicZeal, I'm not to concerned with old db's or whatever. It still works.

There's ports of Blazing Star and Metal Slug 3 for iOS. They also support the iCade.
