To our friend Breetai. We're all going to miss you buddy.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Wow, I had no idea until right now. I am shocked and saddened.

We spoke on a regular basis via PM here and on PCEngineFX. Both of us are avid fans of NEC's console and he taught me quite a few things about it. We've had our disagreements, but in the end we got along great because he was a good man.

Thanks for sharing your memories, pictures, and insight with me about being a fellow gaijin in Japan. Your stories about those J-girls were hilarious. I'm sorry we never got to go to an izakaya and go game hunting over there. That would have been fun. You will be missed.

Rest in Peace, Blake.

And to his sister, thank you so much for your post. My deepest sympathies to go you and the rest of Blake's family.

I never had the pleasure of interacting with Breetai, but he was one of the first people I noticed when I discovered this forum and he seemed like a really nice, funny guy who obviously knew his stuff. My condolences to his family. I wish them the best.

Come back to RB, and I see this. Damn. At a serious loss of words right now.

This sums up my feeling too. On sleepy nights when my eyes would get tired and I'd skim posts a bit, but when I see Breetai I always stopped and read what he had to say, it was always something good. Like others have said he ALWAYS had "a VERY high ratio of HIGH QUALITY posts"

Thanks for the good reads over the years Blake. You are in a better place now.

Wow, this is sad news, I've always enjoyed his posts, and as a big fan of Robotech growing up, chuckled the first time I encountered his username Breetai.

While we'd never exchanged PMs, his knowledge will definitely be missed. I'm 100% behind any sort of charity auction to help his daughter, and will gladly donate items when it happens.

If you'd like to contribute towards flowers from the Racketboy Community to be sent to the family for the funeral service, please send $5 PayPal to [email protected] before FRIDAY, DECEMBER 28th AT 3PM EST so that they can be ordered in time.

What's the contribution fund is up to? Do we have sufficient funds or do you need more?

We thought you would all appreciate this picture. It's Blake playing Nintendo for the first time (Christmas, 1989).
