Mine would say: "Thanks for losing the underwear dude."

Haven't worn underwear in a few weeks now...

They're fresh as a summer breeze
They'll take you by surprise
They mean so much to me
I'll do whatever to make them happy

As Howard Bloom put it, violent entertainment allows us to "exercise the animals in our brains."

Basically, we all have these primal, violent parts of us; the lizard brain if you will. The cold, calculating self-interested portion of us. If we try to deny this side of us, it will seep out into daily life, scratching at the surface waiting for any excuse to fuck shit up.

By treating game avatars as extensions of ourselves in a consequence-free fantasy environment, we're able to sort of "play" with the dark side. Games like Grand Theft Auto simulate life closely enough to feel real to us on some level. Go on a killing spree, and they flee in terror. Kill to your heart's content until you're bored. The urge has been met, with no consequences.

If it's not in games then it's expression through creation of art, music, martial arts, or by consuming other violent media. As long as it goes somewhere.
