Long story short, this jerk and his girlfriend are arguing a few tables away from us and he pushes the girl to the floor. Everyone who saw it let out an "Oooh!", and I ran over and told the guy to leave. In return, he punched my face, near my left temple. A bit dazed, I landed a right near his lower chin/neck. Police were on the scene in minutes, and he was arrested, I was let go.
What pisses me off about this little story is the part where the guy was arrested... for being a man. Men are stronger than women for a reason, because nature as designated them as leader and the female as the follower. But now, thanks to our laws, it's illegal for a man to behave like a man, which has reversed the roles of male and female. Now the female rules the roost. If there's an argument between her and her man, and if he doesn't back down and let the her win, then chances are the argument will continue to escalate until the man becomes violent, because when a man becomes angry it is only natural for him to become violent, and now instead of the woman finally learning a lesson she should have learned a long time ago, the man is arrested and thrown into a cage. Now the lesson is for the man, and the lesson he learns is that it's best to become tolerant and submissive unless he wants more punishment. It's self-imposed psychological castration, and it's disgusting.
And another thing that pisses me off is the way you reacted to the pushing, with you rushing over there to play the role of hero and trying to impress your friends with your tough-guy act. If you ask me, you're the jerk who should have been taken away and locked in a cage. It seems you still need to learn a lesson of your own... and that is to mind your own damn business, because one of these days you might meet up with a "real" bad dude, and he's going to stomp your punk-ass into the dirt.
